Tour 1: Amman or the Dead Sea – Amman City Tour - Desert Castles - Amman or Dead Sea

Tour commences 08.00hrs: Meet up with your driver in Amman or the Dead Sea to tour the city of Amman. Many people call it the city of contrasts. The capital is built on 7 hills like Rome. We will visit the Citadel, the Roman Theatre and the Archaeological Museum. We will drive through the Suq and the modern areas of the city. After our city tour, we will head east to Azraq, to visit the fortress built by the Mamelukes in the 13th century. Azraq is one of the Desert Castles and our visit will also include Qasr Amra and Kharanah, both used by the Ommayads as hunting lodges in the 8th Century. In the afternoon we will drive back to Amman or the Dead Sea and the end of our services.

Tour 2: Amman or Dead Sea – Umm Qais – Ajloun – Jerash – Amman or Dead Sea

Tour commences 08.00hrs: meet up with your driver in Amman or the Dead Sea and drive North to visit Umm Qais (Biblical Gadara), situated 110 km north of Amman with a magnificent view over the Yarmouk River and Lake Tiberias. This town was known as Gadara, one of the most brilliant ancient Greco-Roman cities of the Decapolis made of black basalt. After visiting Umm Qais the tour continues to Ajloun castle, a 12th century Arab castle known as Qala’at al Rabad, which was an important in the battle against the Crusaders. In nearby Jerash, explore the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy. To this day, its colonnaded streets, baths, theatres, plazas and arches remain in exceptional condition. In the afternoon we will drive back to Amman or the Dead Sea and end of our services.

Tour 3: Amman – Madaba – Mt. Nebo– Bethany – Dead Sea – Amman

Tour commences 07.30: meet up with your driver in Amman or the Dead Sea and drive to Madaba "City of Mosaics" to visit St. George’s church where you can admire the famous 6th Century mosaic map of the Holy Land as well as other numerous restored Byzantine and Herodian Mosaics in the Madaba Archaeological Park, Churches and Madaba Museum. Continue to Mt. Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Holy Land. If the weather is clear, it will be possible to see the Mt. of Olives, Jericho and the roofs of Jerusalem. Descend then to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth to visit Bethany Across the Jordan "Maqdas", where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. The affirmation which comes from numerous archaeologists is supported by the presence of numerous water channels, cisterns and baptismal fonts. * If staying in Amman continue to the Dead Sea shore to enjoy lunch and float in the salty water of the Dead Sea. ** If staying at the Dead Sea lunch will taken at a local restaurant in Madaba. Later in the afternoon we will drive back to Amman or the Dead Sea and the end of our services.

Tour 4: Amman or the Dead Sea – Petra – Amman or the Dead Sea

Tour commences 07.00hrs: meet up with your driver in Amman or the Dead Sea and head south toward the charming city of Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. After approximately 3 hours’ drive we will meet with our local English-speaking tour guide for a 3-4 hours tour in Petra including, entry by the Siq, Treasury, Street of Facades, Royal Tombs, Roman Theatre, Byzantine Church, and depending on your personal abilities and on your own, The Monastery "Ad Deir" (900 steps). In the afternoon we will drive back to Amman or the Dead Sea and the end of our services.

Our 3-4 hour tour in Petra can cover the lower part of the city but to see more of Petra, kindly advise us so we can book you a hotel to spend more days to explore in this fabulous city.

Additionally an optional tour to the spectacular desert of Wadi Rum can be offered in conjunction with the Petra visit. Again please ask for further details.

If you are staying in Aqaba and wish to see the Rose Red city of Petra we can also offer day trips that will allow you to explore this fantastic city.

Tour 5: Aqaba – Petra – Aqaba 

Tour commences 08.00hrs: meet up with your driver in Aqaba and head north toward the charming city of Petra. After approximately 1 1/2 hours’ driving we will meet with our local English-speaking tour guide for a 3-4 hours tour of Petra including, entry by the Siq, Treasury, Street of Facades, Royal Tombs, Roman Theatre, Byzantine Church, and depending on your personal abilities and on your own, The Monastery "Ad Deir" (900 steps). In the afternoon we will drive back to Aqaba and the end of our services.
